I'm not a very active person, never have been. I've just been lucky to not need to exercise to fit in my clothes. But as the years start to go by, I realize that I do need to find some kind of exercise that fits into my lifestyle, something not too fast or too high impact, and something that doesn't have to be done in the gym.
Then, I ran into Tai Chi. This is a Chinese martial art that has been around for quite a number of years. Here is a great link to Wikipedia about Tai Chi Chuan. Tai Chi is based on various forms which are combined by slow, fluid movements. The particular form that I use is the 24 forms, which were made into a national exercise by the Chinese government. This is the exercise that I have been doing:
